General Grant to Re-join General Lee at Appomattox Court House National Historical Park for the 153rd Anniversary Celebation, April 7-8th, Instant

General Grant and General Lee will return to Appomattox National Historical Park for the 153rd anniversary of their meeting in 1865.  There will be a full weekend of exciting and informative programs from Friday to Sunday at Park closing.

General Lee will have Traveler and a large contingent of Confederate soldiers with him to this meeting.  General Grant will be joined by Lincoln’s Generals, the 62nd PVI and the Combat Engineers.

Opportunities to have an image taken with Generals Grant and Lee, and their soldiers, will be had several times throughout the weekend.
