Shiloh National Military Park, The Ulysses S. Grant Association and the Ulysses S. Grant Presidential Library at Mississippi State University present the Corinth Contraband Camp Symposium April 17-18, 2014. President Abraham Lincoln, General U. S. Grant and Mr. Frederick Douglass will make presentations and participate in a panel discussion on Friday afternoon and a period press conference in the Coliseum Performing Arts Center in downtown Corinth
A tour of the Corinth Civil War Interpretative Center and a tour of the Corinth Contraband Camp will occur on Thursday morning.
The Symposium will end on Friday evening with a concert by famous Civil War and period music interpreter Bobby Horton in the Coliseum.
