Fort Donelson 152nd Anniversary Observation

General Grant will attend the activities to observe the 152nd anniversary of the first significant Federal victory in the Civil War in February, 1862, at Fort Donelson in Dover, Tenn.

There will be tours of the Water Batteries, the road of the attempted Confederate break-out and the surrender by General Buckner to General Grant at the Dover Hotel.

General Grant urges all who may be able to come to do so and be a part of our Civil War History at its finest on a pristine battlefield of the War.
