Blue and Gray Days is an annual living history event at Carter House and Carnton that allows guests to step into the past. In addition to the classic house tours, re-enactors and living historians set up camp sites and perform demonstrations. Visitors can meet and visit with Abraham Lincoln and Gen. U.S. Grant, play a game of 19th Century cricket, or learn the differences between Federal and Confederate soldiers.
Note: Thursday and Friday mornings are reserved for school groups.
