155th Anniversary of the Battle of the Crater

Location:
Displays and lectures will occur in the area of the Eastern Front Visitor Center while living history demonstrations and ranger-led walks will occur in the areas of Stop 7 and Stop 8 along the Tour Road of the Eastern Front Unit.

Description: Weekend full of programs that will commemorate the anniversary of one of the most brutal yet fascinating battles of the Civil War: The Battle of the Crater. Programming will include living history demonstrations, ranger led walks, and lectures by General Grant and General Lee (Thomas Jessee)
