General Grant will be participating in the 152 anniversary re-enactment of the Battle of Helena, Arkansas, at Fort Curtis in Helena, on the weekend of March 13-15th. He will be there to do presentations about the impact on the War of the battle fought at Helena on the day Vicksburg surrendered.
There will be a re-enactment on the weekend as well. It should prove to be an enlightening and entertaining event for all who are interested in the Trans-Mississippi Theater of the War. The General urges all who may be able to do so, to join him at the beautiful park/fort on the river.
