General Grant will Sail on the American Queen Steamboat From New Orleans to Memphis, June 25-July 2nd, for the Civil War Cruise!

General Grant is most pleased to declare that he will be appearing on the American Queen Steamboat on its Civil War cruise from New Orleans to Memphis, from June 25th through July 2nd, instant; stopping at all points of Civil War interest along the mighty Mississippi.  Julia will accompany him on the cruise on the magnificent American Queen, the world’s largest paddle wheel steamboat.

The General will be joined by President Abraham Lincoln (George Buss).  Mrs. Lincoln will sail with the President.      

General Grant and President Lincoln will both appear several times on the cruise in the Grand Saloon.

Also on the cruise will be Bertram Hayes Davis, the GGGrandson of Jefferson Davis and Ulysses Dietz, the GGGrandson of General/President Grant.  They will do several appearances during the cruise.
