General Grant will visit the excellent school, Westminster Academy, in Memphis, Tennessee on the afternoon of May 2nd, instant. The General will be making his seventh appearance at the school and will discuss his experiences at the Battle of Shiloh (Pittsburg Landing). This is his annual visit prior to their going to the battlefield at Shiloh NMP.
He is delighted to be returning to talk the students at this outstanding school based on the classical approach to teaching.
