General Grant will be attend the 41st Olustee, Florida Festival to help observe the 155th anniversary of the Battle of Ocean Pond or known as the Battle of Olustee, Florida. He will address the Festival attendee’s on Friday, the 15th, ride in the parade with General Lee, deliver an address at the memorial ceremony in the cemetery for soldiers of both sides and attend the battles held. The General is the guest of the Blue-Grey Army. He is pleased to have been invited to be a part of this significant event and festival in History.
The Annual Olustee Festival, held in beautiful downtown Lake City, features homemade arts & crafts from vendors all over the United States, food & entertainment of all kinds, and a kids’ area featuring bounce houses, pony rides, rock climbing walls, train rides and much more. The Festival begins at 9 am on Friday and is held Saturday, 9am – 6pm. The Olustee Festival Parade is Saturday, beginning at 10:30 am. On Sunday, the Olustee Battle Reenactment is held at the Olustee Battlefield Historic State Park.
