General Grant will be present to help re-open the Historical Civil War Treasure: the Curlee House in Corinth, Mississippi, on June 6th and 7th. He will be joined by period musicians and local Chefs and Historians to celebrate the renovation and preservation of the House that was the Headquarters of three Generals in the Corinth Campaign in 1862: General Braxton Bragg, General John Bell Hood and General Henry W. Halleck.
The House has been under a two million dollar renovation for several years to replace the roof and foundation. It is now open for tours and events.
