Taking the Surrender of General Lee at Appomattox Court House, Virginia

General Grant will take the surrender of General Robert E. Lee at the Wilmer McLean House in Appomattox Court House, Virginia at 3:00 PM (EST) on April 9th, instant.

Please join the General and his staff (Lincoln’s Generals) as they, with General Lee (Thomas Jessee) re-create this most Historic event.

If you cannot be there, the event will be broadcast ‘live’ by C-Span American History (C-Span 3) and re-broadcast Sunday afternoon on the 12th of April instant, with a  ‘live’ interview with General Grant and General Lee.  Following the interview, the Generals will take questions called in by viewers.  Perhaps you will be one of those who get their questions answered by the Generals.
