General Grant To Appear at the John Wood Mansion in Quincy, Illinois, on August 13th and 14th of August, Instant

General Grant will be joined by Mr. Samuel Clemens and President Lincoln on Saturday, August 13th at Governor John Wood Mansion.

General Grant will participate in a re-dedication of the monument on the riverside in Quincy, Ill, where Grant took the 21st Illinois vols across the river into Missouri into the War (and himself into History).  The ceremony will take place at 2 o’clock, pm.
