This will be a re-union for General Grant and General Lee. They portrayed Grant and Lee at the Appomattox 150th anniversary of the surrender of Lee to Grant at Appomattox Court House, Virginia. That event was captured ‘live’ by C-SPAN and may be seen in its entirety in ‘real-time’ on C-Span. Moreover, General Grant’s staff at the 150th was, essentially, members of Lincoln’s Generals. Most of those officers will be marching behind Grant and Lee to reprise their individual roles at the Appomattox 150th, as well. History will, once again, repeat itself.
