Under the big Chautauqua tent!
General Grant is pleased to announce that he will be a speaker on the famous Chautauqua Circuit, and under the big tent, in Alliance, Nebraska, this Thursday evening. The General is very pleased to be able to participate in this venerable and enduring American tradition of education and entertainment.
The topic of the meeting is: “Free Land? 1862 and the Shaping of Modern America” Seating is for 500, so plan to come early for this program which will include several speakers, musicians and noted personalities and will be moderated by Mark Twain.
