General Grant is pleased to announce that he will return to Vicksbug start the epic “Run Through History!” 10K race that goes through Vicksburg National Military Park on Saturday morning, March 4th. He and Julia will hand out the awards after the race.
Race Headquarters is in the Hampton Inn and Suites at 3300 Clay street (601-636-6100) at the entrance of the park and registration will be from 5-8pm on Friday, March 3rd. Please come by and meet the General and Julia! They look forward to being a part of this great fund-raising event for the Junius Ward Johnson YMCA of Vicksburg, Mississippi.
Registration is now open for the 38th annual Run Thru History, a 10-kilometer run, 5-kilomter race walk and 1-mile fun run in the Vicksburg National Military Park. The race will take place on March 4, beginning at 8 a.m. The entry fee is $25 for the 10K and 5K, and the 1-mile fun run is free. To register online or for more information, visit runthruhistory.org. Registration forms are also available at the Purks YMCA.
