General Grant is pleased to speak to the sixth grader of Adamsville elementary in the morning and return to Northside elementary school (Savannah, TN) in the afternoon on September 29th, instant. The General will speak to each school for an hour. Later that day, General Grant will speak to the people of Savannah, on the banks of the Tennessee river, near the famous Cherry Mansion, during the “Night at the Museum” event. He will be talking about his experiences in Savannah and the subsequent battle of Pittsburg Landing.
Participants will shuttle from the Tennessee River Museum for the short trolley ride to the river where they will meet the General and talk with him about his time in Savannah, Tennessee.
The General is pleased to return to Savannah and the young Historians he meets when he is there!
