The Hazard Lecture Series: Voyage From the Past – The Sesquicentennial of the Civil War

The Hazard Lecture series will present General U. S. Grant (portrayed by Dr. E. C. Fields, Jr.) on October 28, 2013, at 7:00 PM.  General Grant will speak about his relationship with General R. E. Lee and the last year of the War.  General Grant will also speak to the activities of General Stephen D. Lee after the War in the Columbus and Vicksburg, Mississippi, areas.  There is no admission fee for the Hazard Lecture Series events and General Grant urges all who may, to attend this lecture event.

The General will be featured on the “Live at Five” program on the CBS local TV affiliate: WCBI on Monday immediately prior to the lecture.  Check into it at: WCBI.com
